Semarang, February 25, 2026 – The Library and Information Science Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Diponegoro University, held a guest lecture with the theme “Development of 360° Multimedia Content in Libraries,” presented by Yudhie Fardhani, co-founder of 360.dcimaji.com.
Yudhie Fardhani is a competent and professional individual in the field of 360° Content. He serves as a Producer, Director, Photographer, Videographer, and Editor at Digital Cipta Imaji, a production house, where he also plays the role of Co-founder of DCImaji. Mr. Yudhie previously dabbled in the world of tennis or engineering. In addition, he holds a certification as a recreational diving instructor from PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors).

As an opening to the session, Mr. Yudhie presented a brief profile of DCImaji, which has been at the forefront of innovation, adopting and developing cutting-edge technology to deliver immersive and transformative visual experiences since 2014. Various portfolio examples such as 360° properties, 360° galleries, 360° interiors, 360° short films, 360° live streaming, virtual reality (VR), and so on were also presented as initial materials to introduce 360° multimedia content to the participants interactively.
He also explained the entire process of creating 360° content in the library; from pre-production, production, to post-production. This series of processes is crucial in the creation of 360° content. Furthermore, Mr. Yudhie introduced various core and supporting devices used in content production. He then elaborated on the implementation of 360° content in the library and how the challenges and benefits were obtained in its application.
Overall, the development of 360° multimedia content in libraries can become a new strategy for libraries to enhance user experience. 360° content, as an immersive medium, is considered relevant to be applied in modern libraries. In its implementation, proper planning, human resources, and budget are needed, so that it can become an effective educational and promotional tool with good management.
In the Q&A session, the high enthusiasm of several participants in asking questions to Mr. Yudhie regarding the material presented was evident. This session was active with a total of more than 15 questions posed and answered by Mr. Yudhie. One of them was a question from Rahma Dynar Amalya, asking, “What is a blindspot in 360° content, what does it look like, and how can it be addressed?” There were also many other questions with various types and perspectives.
