Semarang, September 6, 2023 – The Library and Information Science Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Diponegoro University, hosted a benchmarking visit from the Library Science Study Program at UIN Salatiga on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. The event, which began at 1:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time), took place in the FIB Grand Meeting Room. Seventeen lecturers from each study program attended.
The purpose of this benchmarking was to strengthen collaboration and share best practices in the management and development of study programs.
The event began with remarks from the study program heads. In his presentation, the Head of the Library and Information Science Study Program, FIB Undip, Heriyanto, Ph.D., explained the vision and mission, curriculum, and profiles of library and information science graduates.
The event continued with an interactive discussion among participants.
The two study programs exchanged experiences and insights related to the implementation of education, research, and community service.
It is hoped that the results of this visit will serve as evaluation material and inspiration for the sustainable development of academic quality and study program governance.
