The eradication, burning, banning, censorship, and destruction of books, known as bibliocide, has occurred throughout human history, on both a small and large scale.
One impact of bibliocide is the loss of records and history for a specific period.
So what exactly is bibliocide? In this infographic, I invite friends from the Public Library and Library Science Department to briefly introduce bibliocide and examples of its occurrences.
