Semarang, September 9, 2025 – The Library and Information Science Program, Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Diponegoro, hosted a Sharing Session and Library Tour with doctoral students from the Faculty of Information Science and Technology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), and students from UNDIP’s Information Systems Program. The event was organized to broaden academic perspectives, strengthen collaborative networks, and promote international cooperation in the field of information science.The series of activities began with an introduction from each participant, followed by a discussion session. During the session, UKM doctoral students presented their academic experiences, ongoing dissertation research, and introduced the profile of the Faculty of Information Science and Technology at UKM. Doctoral students from UNDIP’s Information Systems Program also actively participated by sharing their academic experiences and presenting their current research, creating an interactive and productive discussion atmosphere.In addition to the discussion, the program continued with a Library Tour at UNDIP’s Library and Undip Press. Participants were invited to explore the facilities, services, and innovations developed to support the academic needs of Universitas Diponegoro’s community. This agenda also highlighted the role of UNDIP’s Library and Undip Press as key information hubs and platforms for sharing best practices in technology-based information service management.

Through this activity, it is expected that closer cooperation between Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Universitas Diponegoro will be fostered, whether in the form of joint research, knowledge exchange, or the development of academic programs. The meeting also aimed to inspire both undergraduate and postgraduate students to continuously enhance their academic and professional competencies in the field of information science.
