Semarang, 24 May 2025 – Titan Violeta is an alumnus of Library and Information Science, Diponegoro University, in 2019 who currently serves as Head of Library at one of the universities in Indonesia. In all her duties and responsibilities as head of the library, Titan Violeta is also the founder of her business called Pinker Shop, a printing business that she built from home with one printing machine.
With the skills she gained during college, such as organizing information, being meticulous in her work, and the ability to provide services to others, Titan has now succeeded in developing her business to be trusted by agencies and UMKMs.
Through her interview, Titan said, “Thanks to hard work, perseverance, and listening to customer needs, I managed to build trust and expand my services. Now, we can handle large projects with consistent quality and have even opened up jobs for some people around me. What makes me proud is not only the growth of the business, but also that I can prove that with a background in library science, I can still contribute in a different field, while still bringing the values of order, excellent service, and professionalism.” Feeling a sense of pride when her business not only grew but also opened up new jobs for the people around her.
In addition, in the seminar held on May 24, Titan also clearly and patiently helped participants (students) to be able to create a Shopee account, which is expected to be useful in building a business. Explaining one by one what steps need to be fulfilled, to tips on how to find the right influencer that we can use to promote the products we will sell.
With the stories of alumni like Titan Violeta, it is hoped that they can provide inspiration for active students and prospective graduates, that career paths can be very broad as long as they know how to utilize them so that they can produce positive results.
