Semarang (10/23) Undip Library Science Study Program students again made brilliant achievements in the national arena, especially in the Literacy Festival (Telminas) competition organized by the Library Science Study Program Student Association, Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (HMPIP FIA UB).
The annual Litfest competition is a stage for Library Science students across Indonesia to showcase their literacy skills. This year, Litfest raised the theme “The Power of Literacy in Self-Development” by holding four branches of competition, namely speech competition, infographic competition, essay competition, and photography competition.
The Undip Library Science student delegation won 2 champions from the essay competition branch. The following are the awards won by Undip Library Science Study Program students at the Litfest competition.
- Ellena F, Zahra Fadhilah Husna, and Aurima R won 1st place in the essay competition branch with the title of the work, “LIBCONS: Collaboration between Librarians and Counseling Teachers through Bibliocounseling in Fostering Growth Mindset for Grade 12 High School Students in the First Generation of College”.
- Virtu Ozo Fable Tchaikovsky, Tri Indrawati, and Aretha Hanny Patricia won 1st Hope in the essay competition with the title of the work, “Digital Literacy Movement Based on SULTAN Class to Increase the Growth Mindset of Indonesian Students”.
This success shows the dedication and extraordinary ability of Undip students to articulate their ideas about literacy. This achievement is a pride not only for themselves but also for the entire campus family, especially Undip Library Science Study Program.
