In order to boost creativity and competitive spirit among students, the Interest and Talent Division of HMPS Library Science introduces the 2022 Library Festival (National Competition and Webinars) as an arena for creativity and self-development. This event was held once during the period of management. This year, the Library Festival (National Competition and Webinars) 2022 is packaged in the form of essay writing competitions, poster making, and logo contests with the target of all students in Indonesia. Then as a closing event, a national webinar will be held which is open to the general public.
The 2022 Library Festival competition carries the theme “Ready for the library in 3D”. The competition has been held and will be held on July 24, 2022, to August 23, 2022. After the competition, Libfest continued the webinar with the theme METAVERSE: Be ready for the library in 3D. By inviting two speakers who are experts in the IT field, including, Dwi Cahyo Prasetyo with a presentation entitled “Metaverse, Libraries, and the Future” then continued with material delivered by Hardika Dwi Hermawan with a presentation entitled “How to Build A Metaverse Libraries” By presenting the interesting material, the webinar participants also asked interesting questions. After the webinar, the library festival featured a special performance from the library science band community, namely Bandapus, who performed three songs.
