LENTURE 2025 #2: From Book Telling to Cooking Class

Day Two – Friday, 7 November 2025. Activities on the second day began with morning prayer, breakfast, and a short briefing, followed by the committee’s departure to SD Tolokan 1. Educational programs were carried out for students from grades 1 to 6, including book-telling sessions for lower grades and thematic educational materials for upper grades. These activities were complemented by paper-flower crafting and educational games aimed at fostering creativity and motivation among students.

After the lunch break, the agenda continued with an information preservation workshop for residents of Dusun Bagongan. Participants received theoretical and practical guidance on document preservation techniques, including fumigation and encapsulation, based on the committee’s field of expertise.

In the afternoon, a community cooking class was held, consisting of three sessions:

  1. A cooking demonstration using locally sourced ingredients;
  2. Training on utilizing AI for product documentation and promotional purposes;
  3. A tutorial on using Canva to support local small business development.

The second day ended with a communal dinner and an evaluation of the day’s activities.
