Surabaya (24/11) HMPS Library and Information Science Universitas Diponegoro (HMPS ILPUS UNDIP) successfully held a comparative study with the Student Association of the Library and Information Science Program from Universitas Airlangga (HIMAFORSTA UNAIR). The event, themed “Cultures in Contrast: A Journey Through Diversity,” aimed to strengthen the relationship between the two organizations, build connections, and explore opportunities for future collaboration, all while embracing the diverse cultures each brings.
The event started with welcoming speeches from Zulfatun Sofiyani, S.IIP., M.Hum., a lecturer from UNAIR, and Zulfa Avidiansyah, S.IIP., M.A., a lecturer from UNDIP. These remarks marked the beginning of the collaborative exchange between the two organizations.
The highlight of the event was a presentation about the organizational structure, vision, and strategic plans of both associations. It was followed by a Focus Group Discussion (FGD), where participants from similar departments and bureaus shared experiences, discussed challenges, and exchanged ideas to improve their work programs.
The event concluded with the exchange of plaques between HMPS ILPUS UNDIP and HIMAFORSTA UNAIR, symbolizing the commitment of both organizations to continue building their relationship in the future.
Through this comparative study, HMPS ILPUS UNDIP and HIMAFORSTA UNAIR hope to inspire one another, foster innovation, and contribute to the growth of both organizations.
