Semarang (7/23) Indonesian Bibliometrics Conference 2023, day 2, was held at the Library Science Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. On the second day, the event was held in parallel in two rooms, that is, in buildings A.3.10 and A.3.11, each of which presented a different speaker.

There were 4 workshops attended by the participants with extraordinary theme treats. The first theme is “Bibliometric Trends in Indonesia and Future Prospects.” Presented by Purwoko, S.IP., M.A,. Furthermore, Bayu Indra Pratama, S.I.Kom., M.A, presented the theme “Bibliometric Analysis in Communication Science Research.” Another interesting theme presented by Dr. Adi Wijaya, S.KM., M.Kom, presented the theme “Utilization of Bibliometrics in the Development of Health Sciences in Indonesia.” And also, Mrs. Lis Setyowati, with the theme “Bibliometrics: “Bibliographic data sources” with an interesting subject about data sources, tracking strategies, and data cleaning and formatting practices. The conference was closed with Mr. Miswan presenting material on Bibliometric Analysis, introduction to bibliometric concepts, Citation analysis, Co-citation analysis, Bibliographic coupling, Co-word analysis, and Co-authorship analysis carried out by practicing together using Vosviewer software.

The second day of the 2023 Indonesian Bibliometrics Conference created valuable momentum for bibliometrics enthusiasts in Indonesia, considering that this is the first bibliometrics conference in Indonesia. Hopefully, this conference can continue and positively contribute to the development of science, especially regarding bibliometrics in Indonesia.
